Since my move to AZ I have been to Great Wall on several occasions and each of them have been pretty good. This is your typical Chinese restaurant that has dim sum on the weekends, closes for banquets/weddings, and serves really good Chinese and Vietnamese food. Everything is good here. I love the har gow and siu Mai, and I also really enjoy the jellyfish dim sum dish though I noticed it lacked the seaweed accompaniment that I'm used to. The bread and buns are tasty! I haven't found an Asian bakery around the area so eating dim sum desserts will have to do. Definitely a great spot for dim sum.
Be forewarned that it gets pretty busy on dim sum days. It seems like every Asian family in the area comes here so that speaks to how good the food is. Additionally, there are a lot of options for dim sum, way more than I'm used to do you may have to look through every cart until you find something you like, which shouldn't be very hard. I can't wait to revisit by go-to dim sum spot!
PS. Here's a tip for dim sum novices. If your teapot is empty, flip the lid upside down on the teapot. That's the unspoken way to get a refill on your tea.
