  • Yum! I was able to taste three of the appetizers: the Brat Stickers (more like empanadas than potstickers, but great flavor), the Kartoffelpuffer (potato pancakes) (very good) and the Konigsberger Klopse (meatballs and potato wedges) (good, but not as good as my aunt's!). We got the Familienessen, the family-style meal. Thursday is the sauerkraut-braised spare ribs: unbelievable! Huge ribs, fall-off-the-bone tender, great flavor. Sides (mashed potatoes with apples and bacon, sauerkraut, red cabbage, and cucumber salad) were all good. I topped it all off with the cherry trifle (not the kirschtorte, but a special: custard with chocolate cake crumbs and cherries.). Service was earnest, but not skilled (appetizer dishes weren't cleared before the entrees arrived, resulting in some juggling of plates, and my soda never did get refilled.)
