This is hands-down my favorite movie theater in the city outside of the PGH Filmmaker's screens. The projection is dependable, the snacks are fresh, the prices are good. The staff does a great job of balancing classics, independent features, and mainstream hits.
All summer long you can watch midnight matinees of old classics for only $5. This summer, I got to see the Dark Crystal on the big screen finally -- I was too young the last time it was on the big screen! Oftentimes, people dress up for these midnight showings. Come prepared!
I never have a hard time parking on the street. If you live in the city & take a carload of friends, it's worth the gas money to visit the quaint little town of Oakmont.
