Location: Tucked away on Duluth, west of St. Denis. It's easy to miss - apparently it's been open for a year and I only noticed it today. Street parking will be tough to find so you're better off walking.
The place: I love the old-school retro vibe! Vintage furniture, knick knacks and dishes - you'll see stuff your grandmother probably still has tucked away somewhere. The space is small but cozy - great place for a quiet, early morning cup of coffee. I can see hipsters invading the place if they haven't already.
The goods: I ordered a Cortado and tried one of their chocolate chip cookies. They use Kittle beans, which I'm generally not a fan of, but they make a pretty respectable cup of coffee. Beans are till too acidic for me, though. The cookie was good - not too sweet, and perfect for a quick snack. By the looks of it, these guys seem to do all their own baking, which is a definite plus.
Service: Friendly.
Price point: Cortado + cookie = $5.
