  • Unprofessional and sub-par equipment! I went to rent a tank so I could test out my gear locally before going on an out of town trip. I got incredibly lucky because I walked in the door right as the guy was leaving for the day...2.5 hours early. I managed to get them to rent me a tank after being forced to walk to a bank and get cash. Then, after getting cash, I was informed he didn't have any change so I had to pay even more than their already high charges. (FYI I did identify myself as an instructor, so they should have been on their game). When I got the tank home and tried it out, it had a leak coming out of the top of the valve, so thank goodness I didn't need to actually make a dive deeper than 10'! Two days later when I tried to return the tank during posted hours there was no one in sight, no one answering a knock, and the phone rang through as disconnected. I took the tank with me and intended to come back. Later that day they called me and said "hi, did you forget to return our tank??" I explained the situation and told them it would be there Monday at lunch. Well here I am now standing outside their door at 12:30pm and still no one is there and no answer on any phone. When my life and my students' lives are on the line, I need somewhere I can trust to be professional and accurate. This is most definitely not that place!!
