Just moved to Phoenix and was looking for a good Teriyaki place, this was close by so I figured I'd give it a shot. The inside of the establishment looks nice although it has a kind of "Applebee's meets Asian" vibe. The food was unfortunately was mediocre at best: my teriyaki chicken was a bit boring with no real flavor on the chicken and a lackluster sauce. The rice was hard and flavorless (it was white rice so I wasn't expecting much, but still) and the broccoli was fairly tasteless. The fried wontons were a bit bland but did have a very nice crunch. The biggest disappointment was that I asked for a lemonade and got some gross tasting water with the slightest hint of citrus. I thought that maybe I had been misheard and maybe he had just given me some lemon water, but lo and behold I got charged the full 2.50 for it. Overall, it wasn't the worst, but it definitely wasn't special.
