GOOD
Staff is really friendly and it reflects in the service. No complaints about our servers.
My girl dragged me here after work, since we were on he same side of town. Last time were here meeting friends a month ago it was like a 45 minute wait time. So wasn't too happy and expecting the same...We were having a way early dinner so no long wait time (530pm)...yeeessss! 10minutes tops wait in back patio. Upstairs wasn't open yet.
The steak was pretty bomb. I thought it was gonna be a little thin cheap cut of meat. It was rather delicious, medium rare to perfection and comes precut for sharing ( as all the dishes do )
The green bean dish was also pretty tasty and a different spin than the norm with light thin breading that flakes off. Comes with a side of bell pepperish cheese thing for dipping.
The mushroom and spinach pizza was awesome...even threw a few pieces of the steak on top...yummmm...carnivore style!
If my girl who is usually a 2 bites and box it for home girl...actually finished it and no leftovers...well then it's pretty darn good.
THE BAD.
Wait times can be ridiculous... seriously finding parking then having to do alternative plans when you get their with friends is a downer.
The beet salad was tasty but it was wee size. I think maybe the portion size should be rethought by the kitchen. Loved that delicious little nugget of cheese deliciousness that it comes with.
P.s.
All in all a great early dinner and ambiance.. I think their was about 36 people in the 40 room dining space. So pretty packed for that time but no serious wait times from the kitchen bringing food out. Great job to the Carson Cocina! =)
