  • You never know what you're going to get when you walk into a theater. It could be super clean or the floor could be sticky with popcorn everywhere. The crowd could be rowdy or quietly enjoying the movie. When I went to AMC Northlake 14, I was pleasantly surprised. Seeing that it was in a mall, I wasn't sure what to expect. Instead, they had an awesome selection of movies in a variety of formats. I personally saw Black Panther in 3D, and the effects were great. Everyone really enjoyed the movie and wasn't talking (except for the woman with the kid in front of me who was scared of the dark). The theater was very clean spacious and nice. The staff was somewhat friendly. I had to wait in a long line for popcorn, but it went somewhat quickly because they were fully staffed at the registers. BTW-since when did a soda and regular popcorn cost $15??? I grudgingly paid, and enjoyed every sip of coke and bite of popcorn. Overall, great experience and I would come back again. Maybe next time I'll get into the IMAX and grab a drink at their bar to get the full, cool movie theater experience!
