| - Stayed in a tower room with a strip view, which was pretty nice. I think this is the cheapest hotel in the heart of the strip. We enjoyed our time here. Here's my complaints: Right after we got in our room, my 4-year-old immediately ran to the phone and tried to call his cousins, who were also in Vegas at the time. I realized this right away, and immediately made him stop. As I was pulling him away from the phone, I got a call from a front desk person who was very rude. From her tone, I'm guessing it happens often and that's the reason she has a low tolerance. I apologized and was very nice with her, so her rudeness was inexcusable. Another complaint I have is there seems to be miscommunication or just improper training on behalf of the management staff. Before we left CA, I called and asked whether the hotel supplied life jackets for children. I was told yes, so I deliberately left ours at home (wanting to pack as light as possible), but found out they do NOT supply them when we went to the pool. I was also told different prices by different people when calling to make our reservation. So employees need to be trained better in order to avoid giving customers misinformation. Other than that our room was nice and clean, the buffet staff, arcade staff, and staff in the shops & bar were great. I'm looking forward to giving this hotel another try. Hopefully there won't be any customer service issues next time.
