  • Recently moved to the Charlotte area and was in desperate need for some good brunch. As an Elite Yelper I went straight to Yelp and found this amazing place after several searches. The initial reason I chose this establishment is bc I had a massive craving for Shrimp & Grits. The night before went to a Louisiana style restaurant and ordered the Shrimp & Grits which was different than I was use to lol. Thank you Flying Biscuit cause the Shrimp & Grits were amazing and delicious. I also ordered the Steak & Eggs which came with grits which was also great. I ordered it rare and it came out well done so that's something they could work on. The service was top notch and I never had to ask for anything since our waitress was so attentive. For those of you looking for a quick mimosa with brunch, guess what they have mimosas and their not half bad. As for the decor, it's a bit out dated so it could use a little sprucing up but that doesn't affect the food. Very diverse and great food so be prepared to wait about 20-30 mins but it's soooo worth the wait!
