  • The west side of Montreal has a bounty of markets (Provigo, IGA, Mourelatos, Faubourg), but by far the finest is PA! It's got all the stuff you need (good produce, good cheeses/meats) and none of the stuff you don't (look elsewhere for Hamburger Helper and Rice-a-Roni). The location is great, the staff is helpful and the building is a cool old brick building. They even have live piano music sometimes! People who cook from scratch should look first to PA. As an added bonus, the prices are very good.
