I have multiple friends who would recommend this place and even say this is their go to sushi spot. I mean, it's good but some areas could use improvement.
We came on around the beginning of their dinner time (4pm). We were the only two customers for a while so we were seated right away and served our drinks. The front hostess is a little awkward. I felt like she was talking too slow and lingered around our table even after I said we needed more time to look over the menu.
We automatically connected with this petite blonde server who served us the rest of the time we were there. She was pleasant and even made little conversation with us. She constantly checked on us and even recommended some things for us to try. She kept forgetting our some of our orders though. I'm not sure if it's her or whoever is making them in the back that kept making the mistake. That's mainly the reason for the one star deduction.
I would personally recommend their no rice rolls so you can save some room for other things. Rice can be overwhelming when eating AYCE so my best tip is to avoid them unless you're eating it with the Nigiri, which we got a lot of. The fishes were fresh and delicious. Ordered the salmon, yellowtail, Cajun albacore, garlic tuna Nigiri. My friend ordered a spicy tuna hand roll and a side of spicy mayo sauce and basically ate multiple of those all night.
Overall good service. The chefs could be a little faster with our orders though considering there was no one else there.
Also, they were fixing their lights during business hours. The lights kept going on and off which bothered me.
Will be back! I'm the food was good, everything else needed improvement.
