| - Shared the large Strawberry Bingsu ($12) with a friend today. The texture of the shaved us was very fluffy and reminded me of very fine coconut shavings. Topped with strawberry ice cream, strawberry puree, cubes of cheesecake, and a generous amount of freshly cut strawberries, the whole bingsu did not taste too sweet which was great. There was a perfect ratio of shaved ice to toppings which I really liked so I didn't end up with all ice when I got to the bottom of the bowl. The flavours all balanced each other out very well. I was also tried the Injeolmi Bingsu which consisted of soybean powder, chewy mochi, vanilla ice cream and almond flakes. It was a little messier to eat since we ordered the cup size. I would recommend getting this menu item in a bowl as the soybean powder does find its way onto the table when you're scooping it out of the cup. When eating this, make sure you have all the components of the bingsu on your spoon as it can taste rather dry, powdery, and bland if you only get the soybean powder, almond flakes and the ice. Without the ice cream, there is no sweetnesss to it that holds it all together. I'd definitely be back to try some of their hot lattes, desserts, and other bingsus.
