  • Really bad service - sitting at the bar, the bar tender ignored us. When we asked for menus he actually threw them at us. Then, as hotel guests, we were told the restaurant was booked for a private event cause the rain that day made it impossible for the private event to be held on the patio where it was supposed to be. Considering the hotel has conference and banquet facilities perhaps that would have been a more appropriate option. Hotel guests were forced to sit in awkward corners and several to a table while the private event participants slowly trickled in. Within 90 minutes half the tables were still empty. We were seated in the darkest corner in the restaurant. The bars in the casino and restaurant all use high end liquors but there is no cocktail menu. Beer/highballs/wine only. The restaurant food was mediocre at best and the room service was inedible. The aioli for the room service was curdled and the wings were a grayish colour. Avoid at all costs. The hotel staff were all quite pleasant and the room itself was nice. The outdoor hot tub, pool and gym were all decent too. The lemon water by the elevators was a nice touch.
