Unfortunately it was the service that was extremely poor. The food is ok for sushi I have tried in Charlotte so far but far from top quality. They would benefit greatly from keeping the owner away as he has zero customer service skills. I would have probably brought clients to this restaurant if the service wasn't so bad as I work for a large company down the street but would not come back even if there was a free meal involved. It's really too bad because I try hard to give people the benefit of the doubt. Oh well, looking for another sushi spot.
