TRUE FACE: Crook and Liars
Here is my story and WHY ?
I am from California and had a short vacation in Las Vegas from 6/2-6/7 . I planed to drive back to California 6/7/16. I got a small accident in Walmart shopping parking lot near the airport. A guy backed up his truck and hit my front passenger wheel of my 2013 Odyssey which caused the wheel alignment. I checked yelp.com to find the higher rate to do my alignment . I found this shop with 4.5 STAR and about 3 miles to drive. I called the price. They said $89.99 about one hour to complete. I drove there and talked to Alex Last and signed the estimate. I sit there and wait. After 10 minutes they drove my car to the platform to do alignment.
After one hour wait Alex came back and told me the major issue with the wheel and can not do alignment . Need to replace right tie rod, lower controller arm, and strut. Total cost is $1595.00. Alex brought me in and show me the under of the car. And I saw my bend right tie rod. But the
lower controller arm, and the strut look OK to me. I was about to bring my car to Honda Dealer to check But Alex insisted that the car is unsafe to drive and the job should be completed the next day by noon and promised to give me 10% discount on parts. I know the part estimate is way to high because I fixed car myself and has been replaced strut, lower control arm bushing for my previous 2001 Honda Odyssey. I was lazy .then... let them do it.
Next day I called them at around 10 am to check status. Alex told me the part on the truck and will be here any minutes and would take 1-2 hours to complete. I called back around 12 am Alex said they delivered the wrong right tie rod part (the CRITICAL PART NEEDS TO REPLACE)so they can not complete the job. I was so upset and told Alex that I wanted to take back the car to the dealer. He said he already replace the parts: lower controller arm, and the strut. If I pick up the car I have to pay near $1300 with the BEND right tie rod. I was so upset and hang up the phone
The following day I called them again around 8:30 am and they said the part on the truck it should be around 10 am and i should have the car by 11-12am. I called several time to talk to Dough to check the part. Around 12:30 pm I called again Dough told me this time the truck guy delivery the part to the wrong Good Year shop therefore it caused the delay. Dough said it's not the shop 's fault it's dealer faults: delivered the wrong part in the previous day and delivered the part to the wrong shop today. They did not want to take a responsibility which caused the delay customer. That cost me : one more day at hotel (sitting around and wait) and one working day (to explain my boss my problem).
I told Doug that Alex promised me to give me 10% discount on parts. After 20 minutes over the phone he ended up give me 5% discount on labor which much less than on the parts .

- DO NOT BELIEVE Yelp rating - READ the one star rating to learn more the vendor before commit with them.
- Go to DEALER is the better price because you know the true cost of the part. Most of the shops they jack up the part cost to RIP you OFF
- STAY AWAY THIS SHOP..UNETHICAL..IRRESPONSIBILITY.. NOT KEEPING THEIR PROMISE.. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. both Doug and Alex Last
