THANKS TO THE TIP FROM THE MATTRESS FACTORY CAFE FOLKS I HAVE FOUND YET ANOTHER DREAMY YUPPIE BRUNCH SPOT = BLISS!
Hi my loves!
I'm sipping my coffee watching the sun come up and you can dream I'm in some cute get up but really I'm in scrubs (the curse of the nurse!) and listening to some awesome WYEP...it's those sweet morning moments I LOVE!
So a nice addition to my happy morning moments is Coca Cafe. Continuing my love affair with all things Lawrenceville I hit up Coca Cafe with FOMR (Friend of Mr.Rogers) and Photog Smog. I live part time at The Mattress Factory ( I'm a lover of art friends) and the staff at the cafe said that Coca Cafe is their sister location.
To my surprise, we walk in, the place was hoping BUT we got a table right away. Sunny little table in the back. Bright and light...just perfect to put you in a good mood! Since FOMR is 5 years old, we checked out a really healthy and appealing kids menu but some how that little charmer convinced another pretty young waitress to get the cook to make him a grilled cheese at 9am! The beguiling charms of a blue eyed boy...I'm in trouble in 10 years...girls will be pounding down my door for that kid....ANYWAY!
The adults at the table had delicious fresh sourdough toast with a mushroom omelet and grits and deer sausage (?)...elegant take on standard breakfast/brunch classics.
Everything looked delicious on the menu and it was hard to make choices which is a good place to be in I suppose...makes a diner want to return and try more!
From what I understand they also make the delicious selections at Mattress Factory and they are inventive selections that make it worthwhile to have lunch there too.
I'll go back... to both!
Love you,
Muah
