| - This is my go to Walgreens. Not the largest, but the cashiers are the nicest here. There are managers that are super helpful too. I've only had one negative experience, but it wasn't something they could control.
They have the necessities (eggs, bread, milk and even some ground meat when you're in a pinch for dinner) and they have. Pretty decent selection of alcohol considering it's not a liquor store. The wines are what I see the most of followed by beer. And sometimes I'll see hard liquor on special (like vodka and stuff).
But the makeup/beauty section is my favorite. As a Puerto Rican woman, finding shades that suit my color and tone, is near impossible. But recently a manager, who I see all the time told me that they would be carrying more variety to suit more women of color. And on every visit since, my mind is blown. There are foundations and concealers that are the darkest I've ever seen in a drugstore. They've signed contracts and that is something I've noticed with browsing the store.
The hair care aisle is well stocked with a wide variety of brands from low end to higher end. And there always seems to be a promotion. And the points I get I apply to hair and makeup and the savings are awesome. I love that they have hair care for the "naturalists" and relaxers. The hair dye options are lacking, but I don't color my hair often enough to really care.
The baby section has everything I need minus clothing when I run out at night. The diapers are plentiful, and the wipes are always on special. As for formula, I was able to find my brand there and that saved the day at least once a month.
All in all, I love my Walgreens
