  • I am writing this review based on one visit, so maybe it was a good day for them, but, wow, what a great breakfast! Best I've ever had in a restaurant actually. Honestly. Here's the deal: I have loved Monte Cristo sandwiches since I was a kid, not that I eat them much, but when I do I really enjoy them. For those who don't know, a Monte Cristo is a turkey, ham, and swiss on french toast, fried so the cheese is melted. The Cracked Egg's version is battered and then deep fried. It is so rich and sinful, but, my god, it is delicious. The bacon on the side was also excellent and cooked to perfection. My wife had scrambled eggs, sausage links and toast, all excellent. It's a bit pricey for a breakfast place, but you definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommend. This was the Cheyenne location, I have no idea how the others are.
