Cox is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Cheaters, liars, incompetent staff. What they are doing now is calling people with fraudulent offers. After being a 7 year customer, in November 2016 I cut the cable due to so many problems with them. In January 2017, I received a phone call from Cox offering a reasonable package that included the few channels I watch and installation was free. We went through this offer several times and the rep assured me and re-assured me that I would get my channels for the price quoted and installation was free. The next day I had a technician at home and it took him about an hour to get me all set. I live in a two-story home with 5 tvs. It turned out that nothing the Cox rep told me on the phone was true. The package installed had not the channels I watch and they charged me for installation. The story goes on and on, but after a whole week on the phone (I think I spoke with every department in LV and out of LV), they removed the installation fee and I had to go to one of their stores to return the equipment. I could not believe what they put me through.
In an era when people are leaving cable companies by the thousands due to streaming devices, you would think that they be more diligent and considerate with their old time customers. Nope. Not Cox.
