  • If I can give this resort zero stars I would. They ruined my birthday and I have multiple medical issues that I needed a stress free vacation but it was nothing but stress. Long story short one of their grills fell on my husband injuring him. All they did was offer to buy me a pizza. No offer to take him to the hospital. In fact it was one stressor after another. They had a maid come into my room bleaching when I specifically asked for no maid service due to allergies. Later that week they also changed the air conditioning filter that had so must dust that it was unreal. It took them 24 hours to bolt the grill in that fell on my poor husband. Later in the week We found out another guest complained about the grill falling out on him as well. He had pushed it back in. He reported it and they did nothing. My husband's injuries could of been avoided . Later in the week we got back at midnight from a concert to find out after climbing 37 steps to our room. Our both keys didn't work. My son happened to be in the room. So my husband called the front desk to get keys brought to our room. The lady was rude and hung up on him. Saying I don't understand why you need keys sir because you are in your room. He tried several times to explain. So we had to walk down to the lobby to get them. At this time I was done with this place and told them we were getting a lawyer because of all the stress and because of my husband's injuries. The rest of the vacation we were harassed with a security guard giving me and my son dirty looks. It was like he was following us around. In fact my husband was no longer allowed to listen to his radio at the grill or the pool anymore. In fact on our last day Steve Horn the GM told him if he didn't get the radio upstairs they would have us thrown out. It was a boom box that he could also charge phones. He wasn't allowed this at all. Although all week he had no issues until the word lawyer came up. Later that same night there were other folks with a boom box at 10:15pm. When we went into the office about it we were ignored. There was no rule on their website or on the pool rules that said no music. We were trying to play our music during the day. The young kids were never asked to leave and played their music until 11pm when the pool closed. Clearly harassment was the issue with these folks. Be careful if you sit on the cement picnic bench by the fire pit these tip over easily. This place is a safety concern. As well as ignorant rude staff. I wouldn't stay here or any Diamond resort again if it was free.
