| - Any time frame I got from them was always off. Whether it was when my car would be ready or when they would give me a call back. I damaged my front end pretty bad and wasn't too sure the amount of time and money to put in to fix it would even be worth it seeing as my car isn't even worth that much. Wesley said he would stay in contact with me as they were investigating the damages. Once we got a hold of each other, he's running some of the replacement parts by me and telling me they already ordered them even though they weren't sure if they were going to be able to stay under the insurance budget. He assured me it was to save time so that if it was all good, they'd save time by already having all the parts; and that it'd be easier to return them if they weren't going to use them. Fine by me! I let him know when I dropped the car off and during our phone conversations that I was concerned about my cracked windshield. He said that my insurance would not cover it if they deemed that it was from a prior chip. I knew it wasn't, seeing as it hadn't even appeared until a day or two after the accident. They have my car for about 3 weeks and he lets me know I should have it by Friday, Jan 6th. I go to pick up my car and I see it in their parking lot with the same windshield. I go inside and they call Wesley for me. We come out to check out the car, which looked great, aside from my windshield. I ask him about it and he says that he told me they weren't going to replace it. I told him that no, what he told me was that my insurance would have to determine whether it was a prior dent or not. Then he says he'll need to get a State Farm agent over to make the call and it could take like 4 hours. I asked why that wasn't something he had done in the last 3 weeks he had my car. He keeps making excuses on what he had said to me and says something to the extent that he deals with these types of things everyday, so he knows what he's talking about. I told him I never get into car accidents so as my first time dealing with one, I was making very sure I understood everything everyone was telling me from my insurance, to them fixing my car, and the car rental place. I'm not mistaking this conversation with another one because I've never had another one like it. Being the crazy, emotional wreck I am, I start yelling and crying at Wesley about my windshield and how he didn't even let me know I wasn't getting a new one so that I could look into getting one myself. He freaks out and offers to pay for it himself. I told him he's missing the whole point. My point was that he knew my concerns about it as I brought it up in every conversation, and it never occurred to him to even get the insurance agent to look at it in the first place. He took pictures of it before I drove off and I'm not even sure what for seeing as it's almost the end of the month and he still hasn't payed for my new windshield, nor has an insurance agent called to tell me it was a previous crack. What was it all for, Wesley?! Where's my windshield???
****Update!****
Left this review last night and I have received messages from Katie asking for my info so they can deal with this. Well, before I am even able to, I receive a voicemail from my insurance company telling me it was a previous chip and that I have to file a separate claim and pay another $100. Wow... only took service king like a month and a half and a bad review for them to jump right on top of it! All they had to do, was get a State Farm agent to look at it from the getgo, and all would have been fine. Wesley put himself in a bad position and made it worse by offering to pay for it himself. Just steer clear of this company.
