  • Uncle Josh rules. Not necessarily because he's a great artist or because he has great rates (both of which are very true), but because he's very patient and open minded. He lets you explain your idea, asks relevant questions, offers alternatives and makes sure you're at ease through the whole process. I felt very comfortable making the decision to put something on my body permanently and I'm not sure I would have felt that at ease elsewhere. Being only my second tattoo (first in ten years), I was somewhat apprehensive and timid, but Uncle Josh was more than accommodating. We spent hours talking about and sketching the tattoo, and he wouldn't begin the actual ink until we were certain we had a perfect representation of what we both had in mind. Once he started the actual tattoo, it went quick and relatively painlessly. We chatted about music and tattoos and stuff to do in Phoenix which kept my mind occupied, making the pain barely noticeable. I'm very satisfied with my tattoo. It's waaay better than what I had in mind. Uncle Josh turned my basic idea into artwork. I'm so glad I came here. I'll be back. Soon.
