| - Cox Cable is clearly incompetent at what they do. At least I hope it is that, and not that they are trying to rip me off. I recently got rid of cable TV and phone from them, as the TV service was horrible, with constant audio interruption and picture freeze. Had dozens of trouble calls to them, with no resolution.
Finally got a smart TV, ended the service and took my equipment back to the store. They then charged me a 122.00 equipment charge. When i called to ask why, it was for the returned equipment, which I returned over 2 weeks earlier. They said it would come off automatically when the equipment was returned, but obviously it did not. So, on a Friday they said it would be adjusted, but it was not on the following Monday, until I called screaming at them. Called again the next day to see that it was adjusted, with a 122.00 credit, but the bill amount was still not the correct amount. The representative said it takes time to adjust, and could not seem to understand that the amount was adjusted already and was still incorrect. I blame Cox for crappy training and services, and common core math for his inability to understand.
