| - I gave birth to my daughter here, first child and first hospital stay ever. It was horrible all around. First off, I've never had morphine in my life prior to this. I was throwing up and had a terrible headache. My nurse asked me how I felt, and my initial response was "dopey". She took this as me being a drug addict, and not long after my new baby and I were settled, she had a social worker come talk to me about drug use. I was appalled and offended and told her I would gladly provide a ua. The actual labor was terrible, too. My doctor was unavailable, so when a doctor I've never seen before entered the room, she didn't acknowledge me but proceeded to joke and laugh with the nurses. During that time my daughter's head popped out, without effort. The doctor only had one glove on and was screaming in my face for me to push, asking me why I didn't wait. She seemed angry with me the whole time, even while she stitched me there seemed to be tension, and there was no congratulations. I felt rushed out of my room, they needed it for the next delivery. I had to be transported to the downstairs pediatric unit without being notified. I will never give birth here ever again.
