  • Had the worst, bar none pedicure experience of my life in this overpriced, rushed salon. As a gift for my daughters before they went on a vacation we stopped into this salon for a manicure and pedicure. I only wanted a nail polish change on their toes. Once the service began I went to pay. They asked me if I wanted their toe nails buffed or cut. Everything I said yes too added another $5.00 onto the bill. By the time her calculator was done I was charged a total of $96.00 for 2 manicures and 2 toe nail polish changes!!!!! This was including a 5% discount for paying cash. One of my daughters was wearing running shoes and so she waited at least 40 minutes under the dryer to assure her nails were dry. She told the manicurist that she had not done a top coat but the manicurist assured us that she had. In the chaos we trusted that it was done. I don't remember her putting cream or oil on my daughter's toes before she wrapped them in plastic wrap. This is a usual method to protect nail polish on toes when you go home wearing shoes. When we got home and unwrapped her feet the nail polish peeled and/or shmoshed off into the plastic. I immediately called. They offered to redo it if I would come back. This was a long way from my home and they were leaving on a trip the next day. I told her I wanted a refund. Why would I trust them to do a competent job the second time? On the phone they said OK but once I made it to the store the refund was refused. They insisted that no one promised a refund. Horrible, overpriced service. I think they are charging for the address. There are many better choices in the city. Don't bother with this one. One star is too much.
