I like the amusement venues going in to the empty mall spots. So now, we get Spencer's Adult Gifts, Christian Book Store, Round One and Sears Liquidation Sales/Office Space For Rent.
Took the family recently. We did karaoke, and claw machines. They have bowling, food and arcade games also.
The karaoke started at $6 an hour for a small room that fits 4-6 people. But they don't have small rooms- not sure why that's a menu option there. So we got the medium room for $24. You can also get increments of time like 15 minutes for $6. But it took me 15 minutes to turn the machine on. For those of you that don't know, phoneticly it's pronounced "care-eeee-o-keeee." I believe the language derivation is ancient Mayan and means "Drunken Iguana.." I argued with a Japanese guy about that for an hour once. But what does he know? He can't even pronounce my name- JOHN! Not Assuholu.
The karaoke was ok. I didn't like the acoustics and I didn't see a way in the system to delete a single song choice- if you had a list going, you had to delete everything when one crappy song came up. Also, one of our mics had dried pizza sauce in it- very gross. I guess no grosser than what you can't see.
The games are rather pricey. Claw machines were $1.50 to $2.25. So my kids each got a 4" plush toy and it only cost me $128.75.
The Tsum Tsum machine charged me 6 separate 6 token charges to get a little key chain toy- it was supposed to charge 6 total.
