This place was okay. It is definitely a hangover-cure kind of place: huge portions of down-home, calorie-laden fare. Here's what we had, with commentary:
One thing that really makes a place like this for me is good, strong coffee. Unfortunately the coffee here was watery.
-pigs in a blanket: frou-frou sausages designed by some SF chef wrapped in pancakes, sprinkled liberally with powdered sugar and served with maple syrup. Pretty good. I could swear that the pancakes had some cornmeal in them? They had this odd combination of tasting pleasantly of corn, but also being very, very fluffy.
-omelet. denver, i think. My husband said it was just ok. It looked really, really greasy. It came with pancakes.
-chocolate layer cake: dry. Not very tasty.
The bathrooms were very clean.
