  • I have to start this review over because I tried to update this review and basically had to start all over. With that being said to start this review off right. I will not return to the MGM grand for another stay. I gave them 2 stars because the bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. I was reading other reviews about the MGM grand and thought to myself I really hope this place isn't like what I have been reading. We had the 11th floor pot smoking suite. I know it is legal to smoke it here now. Didn't know it made it legal to smoke it in the hotel rooms. The whole floor smelled like skunk every time we returned back to our room. We came back from one our nights on the town about 2 am and security must have been called to one of the rooms close to ours because the people in the room had the music blasting and they were singing to the top of their lungs and he couldn't get them to settle down. He stood out there and knocked and kept telling them they need to keep it down but they weren't listening. Just glad they weren't next to my room and they were down the hall a bit. The mini fridge inside the room don't even bother unlocking it because you can't fit anything in it and don't pick anything up out of it because they add it right to your bill because it is weighted. So had to stand in the check out line to have that removed from our bill. If you want to stay where all the action is this hotel and casino is pretty far away from everything. Like the fountains at the bellagio and other attractions in Vegas. Drinking while gambling... tip your waitress... doesn't equal get a drink quick. Slots were pretty tight after our first day being in town drinks were scarce even with tipping. Not sure if the waitress has to go to the 11th floor to get your drink but it sure seemed like that's how long it took. Some waitresses were nicer than others but seems as if they don't really like working here. Compared to the other casinos we were in MGM had the longest wait time in finding a waitress and getting a drink. Big disappointment and now I agree with other reviewers on here who didn't enjoy the stay at MGM Grand.
