We decided to check out NU Jewish Bistro on a whim in Squirrel Hill. For the money spent, it is by far one of the best experiences in Pittsburgh. The menu is always the same but the Nosh table changes periodically.
I had the Brisket and Eggs. The brisket was nice and tender. Not dry at all. Very tasty. My eggs were cooked over medium perfectly. When that yolk broke, it ran everywhere. Just the way I like!
She had the NU Benedict, and while I don't care for hollandaise, it was absolutely beautiful. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The corned beef which was include was by far some of the best corned beef I'd ever tasted. Salty and shaved paper thin!
I can't even begin to describe the Nosh Table, however a meal could be made of it in and of itself if you choose to take your entree home. It was excellent.
I regret not taking a photo of the table for Yelp! But I will the next time we go and go we shall.
