| - You should definitely not go here for a Brazilian- 4 days later and my special area is in rough shape.
Please note: I have had MANY Brazilians at many spas throughout the city, some amazing (Totto, Tenspot) but this is my first very negative experience. Salisa is a very sweet woman, but unfortunately for this specific service, she lacks expertise and CARE for such a sensitive area.
I got this through a Groupon, so I'm not sure if since I got it for a good price, she cut corners- but it made me never want to go back to redeem the second one I've paid already for. I have a high tolerance for Brazilians, since I have been getting them for many years, but right from the first strip she ripped off me, I was wincing and almost in tears. She advised me that I should have taken Advil before- I shouldn't have to drug myself up to get a service that I am accustomed to.
There was no baby powder used (to create a buffer between your skin and the wax), and no after care lotion, or anything. My entire southern area is extremely red and in a lot of pain. Which is not only bad for me, but bad for my boyfriend. And what's the point of us ladies getting this service, if we can't use it to woo a lover! Because he's certainly not getting any for the next little bit.
Again, I have not received any of the other spa services at Ivory, so I'm not condemning the place as a whole; but ladies, please: Spend the extra little bit of cash and take yourself to reputable spa to get your landscaping done.
