I don't usually write reviews but I went to Vegas recently and thought it would be a great idea to review all the places I visited. I dined at this restaurant Sunday Nov. 8th. I'll preface this by saying that my server was nice, the sommelier, even the runner( I assume he was the busser). But this isn't my first fine dining experience. The food was meh. I had the asparagus salad. It cost me $22 and tasted greasy. It was bit bland and didn't have much flavor. Next I had the sheep's milk ravioli. This dish was really salty but maybe it's down to the way I generally prepare food at home. There were maybe six ravioli on my plate. This cost about $18. The server told me that truffles were $19 extra so being adventurous I said sure. Well those truffles turned out to be $90. But the manager adjusted my bill so I'm happy with that. To round out the meal I had a $14 glass of wine. It did the trick. I was willing to give this place the benefit of the doubt but I had told my server before that I was going to see Cirque du Soleil KA at the MGM Grand and that I would likely need to leave early. But he was more concerned with making sure that I made the restaurant as much money as possible. I got to the MGM Grand with 10 minutes to spare. If restuarants were like clothing stores and I could request a refund, I would. The food was decent but not worth the nearly $90 I spent. They brought out cake because I told them I was celebrating a late birthday. I could only take two bites because by this point I needed to leave. FYI I am vegetarian and I was not impressed by that teeny tiny menu they brought out. I don't even think they listed all the vegetarian dishes the restaurant has. Vegas has much better food than this and for less too.
