Arrived at the restaurant at around 11 a.m. Had to wait a couple of minutes before being seated next to a large group of kids with a few adults supervising. Coffee was brought to the table immediately, but because of the table with kids, was extremely difficult to talk to the waitress. The order came out promptly. The food runner (not the waitress) brought me an order that included a meal with salsa. I had ordered a Wisconsin omelet which wouldn't include salsa. I asked the runner if this was the Wisconsin, and he mumbled something about it being a salsa verde ( I couldn't hear him that well because of all the noisy kids at the table next door) and that he would check. After 10 minutes of waiting and no return of the food runner, I flagged the waitress that had taken the order and asked her. She took the plate away, as it obviously was not what I had ordered and she would get me the correct order. Well, my partner finished his meal before I got my 'rush' order. Yes, the food was hot, but it should not have taken 30 minutes to fix their mistake. When the waitress came back, she said she had taken the coffee off of our bill because of the mistake, a very feeble gesture at best! The food runner should be trained to know what he is bringing to tables and to be able to offer customer service as well as the waitress.
