| - Adorable space to go for brunch. It's a bit difficult to get to if you don't live in the area. (And by difficult to get to I mean it's not right on the subway line. Yes, I am spoiled.) We walked up from Ossington station, and it took about 10 minutes. We met for 10:30am, which was perfect timing because this spot is SMALL, and it being (an unseasonably warm) February, we didn't feel like waiting outside.
I ordered the huevos rancheros. They were really good, and I was pleased at the large portion of guac that was served with it. I hate it when people skimp on the guacamole. The meal was filling, although I wish that I had ordered a side of meat. Because meat is delicious.
I was less impressed with the lox and latke. The latke was soggy. Tsk tsk for a soggy latke.
The service was relaxed, but attentive. There was a mix up on the bill though, with a $3.50 side being coming up as $35. I'm sure it was a one time mix up (I've worked serving, it can totally happen), but it might be worth it to keep an eye on the bill.
My meal and tea came to $20 with tax and tip.
