  • I had to do a frightening thing today and choose a new nail salon after a year of going to the same person. I called a place called earlier in the day closer to my house (on Sardis) to see if they take walk-ins, they said they did but today instead of closing at 6pm like usual they would be closing at 4pm. Seeing how I get off at 4pm I had to choose another place, so I decided to go with somewhere by my job with good reviews. I called around 3 to see how much it would cost for what i was looking for and if they had room for me today. I am beyond thankful I did. The salon was extremely welcoming. They told me over the phone how much my services would be. 85$ to take my current set of acrylic nails off, put a new set of almond shaped gel nails with gel polish and a basic pedicure with gel polish. (The price I pay usually without nail removal.) Mary took my nails off while Tom did my pedicure. They both made extra care to remove my ingrown toenails. They helped me pick out colors, showed me the new fall colors and give me their options... They were warming and welcoming from the moment i went in. Not to mention everyone in the entire salon engaged in conversation with me. My nails are amazing, the shape of the almond tip is exactly what i asked. When i explained the her that one nail was longer than the same finger on the other hand she didn't hesitate to fix it. Both people who serviced me today were interested in getting to know me. I felt right at home. I also watched them greet every customer that came into their door by name--it was extremely impressive. As well as some neighborhood kids who stopped by just to say hi. I highly recommend coming here to get your nails done. And make sure you don't forget to tip 20%!
