  • I have never experienced such horrible customer service and incompetence from a company in my life. I travel to Boston almost every other month taking the same 11:30 pm bus from Mtl to Bos and I'm still alive so that is not where the concern is. The bus gets you from point A to B but if you need any assistance of some sort, Good luck! I wanted to book an online ticket from Montreal to Boston at 11:30pm at $56 (web fare only and advance purchase) apparently its unavailable online. I go in person to the bus station to confirm that this bus is up and functioning. Confirming that the bus is operating and there ARE available tickets at that price and time. Why didn't I just purchase my ticket at the ticket booth since I was already there? a ticket for my desired date and time jumps up to a RIDICULOUS price of $102!! So I call the customer service number and got transferred to Mary Soul (ID# refused to give the information, Supervisor in charge was MJ, company outsourced in the Philippines) I ask to see why I cannot purchase a ticket at my desired time. She replies with it's not available I'm sorry. I am 100% sure that the bus at 11:30pm is offered because I just came from the bus station and they told me to get it online or call customer Service. Which I did! After staying on the line for more than 10 minutes she comes back with "I have good news, we have a ticket at $56, + $3 for convenience fee +$10 for phone purchase". I want to purchase my ticket online to avoid the hassle with calling customer service and dealing with people at the booth therefore the greyhound website should make it convenient at that very moment and for future inquiries. All Im asking for is A TICKET FROM MONTREAL TO BOSTON AT 11:30 AT THE ONLINE PRICE OF $56! I will gladly pay the $56 + $3 convenience fees but I refuse to pay the extra $10 because Greyhound is incapable of making their website cohesive to their prices at the ticket booth. $10 isnt much but I do not believe I have to pay for this nuisance, it clearly is not my fault. This is not the first time that I have to deal with Greyhound's costumer service and every time they're provided zero to no help. Greyhound will get you to your destination with maybe a few hiccups (uncomfy chairs, strange smell on the bus and super spotty wifi) but I'm warning you in advance, if you need any customer service on the phone or pass their working times (usually after 6 they stop caring and arent at the ticket booth) they will not help you!
