Terrible customer service when it comes to extending membership to someone who is physically not able bodied. I am shocked and appalled by how I was not followed up by Jackie, the Membership Director & Personal Trainer, after she learned that I had a physical limitation and planned to join to just use the pool. She literally did not call or answer my emails again despite me telling her I was 100% interested in membership because my orthopedic surgeon, who is the HEAD OF THE LEMIUEX COMPLEX, and one of the best in the state, possibly the country had highly suggest a membership at their facility.
So I still am not a member despite having contacted their membership office with ever intention of joining due to the wonderful amenities in told that they have, like their warm water pool. But I when I told Jackie that I currently am not very physically active due to physical limitations, she literally stopped responding to me.
So. That's my experience trying to join. I hope yours is better. Especially if you too have also been sent by the head of UPMC's Orthopedics. Which is quite a compliment for their establishment. However, I most certainly will be reporting back to the head of UPMC's Orthopedics as to how I was treated.
