I go to Aveda pretty frequently and always have a great experience.
I'm posting today because of a customer service/follow up issue:
I got an Academy Level haircut last week, and the educator wasn't great about listening to what I wanted, even though the student was trying - He didn't think the back of my hair should be as short as I wanted it to be. I have pretty short hair, and I like the back to be nearly shaved because it bothers me when I can feel my hair on my neck, or when my hair gets pushed up by sweaters or scarves. Anyway, I left feeling pretty good about the cut but after a day or two the back started to drive me nuts - it's sticking up everwhere - so I called the Institute to see if I could come in just to have the back touched up (I didn't want a free fix, because the cut is fine, just not a full priced hair cut to just trim the back). I was told I'd have to wait 24-48 hours for a manager to call me back. No one ever did. I tried again, and was apparently put through to the manager's line, but it just kept ringing and ringing.
I'm really frustrated about not being able to get anyone on the phone that can tell me what I should do. I'm happy to pay for the fix, but it's looking like I'll have to go somewhere else and get a whole new haircut and probably pay a ton for it.
