  • Amazing food but prepare to wait in line before you will be able to get your hands on some. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They will answer any questions you have about the menu. As for the food, it is one of the best places in Pittsburgh. All the ingredients are fresh and well prepared for all the dishes they serve. I am a big fan of their "sammiches" (sandwiches). They are made on crunchy, grilled bread and whatever else comes with that specific sandwich. Their empanadas are dank - sooo good. They come straight out of the oven and I wish I had one to eat while writing this. They also have four dipping sauces throughout the restaurant which are so good you can eat them with a spoon. Their shortbread cookies are also scrumptious for dessert. All in all, Gaucho is deserving of more than just 5 stars for its food and service.
