| - Originally before Yama Sushi took over this place used to be Doh Sushi. I haven't been to this Yama Sushi location, but have been to their other location on Maryland and Flamingo plenty of times while going to UNLV. This location is a lot bigger than its other location, but I've heard they expanded.
The service here was great. It seemed like the servers were constantly available as multiple servers floated around taking orders, bringing out the food, and refilling drinks within different table sections. The food was brought to our table not too long after we ordered. There is nothing worse than waiting for the food to come out when you're on your "eating flow."
The All You Can Eat (AYCE) menu seems to be similar from what I can remember at the other location. They also have a separate menu for those doing a la carte, which one of my three friends did. Among the things we ordered some of them were: baked green mussels, takoyaki, different types of nigiri, the Wet Dream Roll (one of my favorites), the Double Dragon Roll, and mochi ice cream. The rice to fish ratio is good to where the rice doesn't take the bulk of the sushi piece.
I wish they had a larger dessert menu. Ice cream and mochi ice cream is what I usually get, but it's nice to have other options just in case I want to try something else. Overall, I'd say it's a good place to go to.
