| - Everything about this dealership is awful- I choose to use any other Jeep dealership in the state besides this one and I've given them many chances. Myself and my boyfriend have had horrible experiences here. Their salesmen are unprofessional and inconsiderate, they will completely try to RIP YOU OFF.... I ended up buying my jeep in Hickory because I refused to work with these people and I got a way better deal than what they were telling me I could qualify for here. They were trying to talk me into everything I didn't want, and talk me out of everything I did want. They are obviously not good at what they do. THEN I found myself here again with my new jeep, to address the multiple recalls which are covered by the manufacturer so I knew they wouldn't cost me a thing, and honestly didn't care which service department addressed them (this is closest to my house as well). Their service department was just as terrible as their salesmen are. First of all, I has several questions about my jeep, (updating the navigation system, etc. not unusual questions) and they didn't know the answer to any of my questions. Wait? Isn't this THE JEEP DEALERSHIP? If they don't know anything about jeeps than who the heck does? So, needless to say, they were never able to answer my questions, even when I re-asked on the day of and when picking up my car to see if they had found out from elsewhere about my inquiries while I was gone- nope. THEN they didn't even call me when my car was ready, I waited all day and had to call them right before they closed to ensure it was ready and I could pick it up. They told my bf on the phone that they found a little seal that was leaking in the steering rack and had to fix that, they said it was no big deal and they topped it off for me, then when I was there in person to pick the vehicle up the SAME service guy who was on the phone told ME that the entire steering rack needed to be replaced and it was going to cost me a couple grand, it's a brand new jeep and the first warranty JUST ran up before they magically found this issue. I don't trust a word they say, so I took it to have a second and third opinion after monitoring the rack myself with a cardboard box in the driveway to see if anything was ever leaking- after weeks, nothing ever leaked out, and no one else could find any problems with the steering rack, or the car at all. So they completely made up an issue and tried to have me fix it there on the spot, and pay them 2,000 dollars. They also told my bf his jeep wrangler needed a NEW TRANSMISSION when he took it in there and the dealership in Gastonia literally laughed when he told them that, bc the actual repair needed was very small and insignificant/inexpensive. Consider yourself WARNED on this one, I never write bad reviews but they are seriously the WORST.
