I stopped by this nail salon last Thursday to get my nails done last minute. I always pass by it since I live less than a mile away, and thought I'd give it a try. Worse mistake ever! I should have just drove to my original nail salon 9 miles away. I walked in and a nail technician asked "How can I help you?" I respond "I'd like gel polish and a pedicure." She then called another nail tech and told him what service I asked for. He told me to pick out my color so I did. When I sat down he took a look at my nails and said "trim?" And I said "yes please can you make them all even." He then started cutting them down super short and picked up the filing machine and started file my nails. It seem odd to me because for gel I've never had my nails file that way. He then pulled out the nail tips from inside his work area and I then pulled my hands away and said "no no I don't want a full set" he then looks and me like "oh oh." He gets up and walks to the sink and starts filling up a glass bowl with water. He walks back and sets it down and I told him "I didn't ask for a manicure either all I want is GEL POLISH." I started getting irritated and upset that my nails were super short and thin. He moved on to do a horrible job with the polish and left my nails feeling super lumpy. When we to got my pedicure he didn't ask what type of pedi I wanted. He assume I wanted the "express pedicure" and that's what I got. It's a fast service pretty much dip my feet in water file my toe nails and scrub the bottom of my feet. It's a $16 service, if I knew that was all It'd be I would have rather pay $20 for a full service at my place. I left the nail salon disappointed and upset but had a wedding to attend that afternoon. I wore open toe shoes and later on the night changed into some flats. When I got home later that night I came to find out the both big toe nails polish were ruined and chipped. Which just further solidifies the poor quality of service this nail salon provides. I have learned my lesson and will not be going back to this place, regardless of its proximity to my home. Visit at you own risk, you've been warmed.
