I went to Aji Picante a few nights ago with a couple of other people, and the overall experience was superb. The service was extremely friendly from the minute we walked in the door. As it was my first time eating Peruvian food, I asked a lot of questions and our server was very knowledgeable of the menu-- I ended up learning quite a lot and was able to choose some tasty dishes. The ceviche appetizer was fantastic-- well-prepared and full of flavor. As an entree, I got the scallops, which were baked in white wine and parmesan on egg fettuccine with a spicy cream sauce. The scallops were perfectly tender and the fettuccine was a great accompaniment, adding just the right amount of spice to the dish. We finished up with a dulce de liche with a port whipped cream, which concluded the meal nicely. The whole meal was fantastic; I felt like I had just eaten like a king. Bravo, Aji Picante!
