The room was decent and clean. Staff, for the most part, was friendly (with the exception of one of the ladies working the front desk). A couple of the managers came and introduced themselves while we ate at the restaurant separate times and asked how our stay was going so far, which was nice.
My biggest complaint is the breakfast situation. Breakfast was supposed to come with the room package that our company booked for us. The cooked to order omelets were great, but one of the days they weren't available because the kitchen was supposedly being worked on. Instead, we had to eat at the buffet which was pretty bad. Most of the food was very old/stale. My coworker ate some of the yogurt only to realize that the yogurt had expired a week ago AFTER she ate it. They also served room temperature cream cheese that says "keep refrigerated" on the package. And on my last day, I came down to eat something before I had to catch my flight. Unfortunately, the whole restaurant was closed even though it was during the posted restaurant hours, so I didn't even get to eat. My company specifically booked this hotel with the breakfast option due to the very limited food options around and no access to transportation other than taking a taxi. It's very disappointing when the food is old, expired or not even available when that was the main reason for choosing this hotel and room package. I probably wouldn't stay here again, should I ever come back to Cleveland again.
