  • 8/16/2016 Ok my mom and dad both have been in the hospital and needed the Eltech and figured we try Heather Hill since it's been 3 years and thought it may have improved.....well the Eltech was awesome except for one of the nursing assistants by the name of Kimberly Willman. She is a horrible nursing assistant; she is mean and when she would come into the room, she'd come with this why are you bothering me attitude. She actually pushed my mom and told her she was tired of this with her in front of me. So if you decide to go there make sure you don't have Kimberly. Other than her, everyone else in the Eltech Unit was awesome.BUT when she went to the SNF unit for the respiratory that was the most horrible experence ever. Even worse than 3 years ago. My mom would push the call button so she could have some assistance to the restroom, it took them literally 30 - 45 minutes to answer the call light. One time when we were waiting about 30 minutes for someone to answer the call light, I ended up trying to help my mom and ended up falling and hitting my head against the wheelchair and the floor. They ended up calling 911 to take me to the hospital. I had a huge bump on the middle of my forehead by the nose (a month later I still have that bump), two black and blue eyes. None of the management came to me to take a incident report or they didn't come see to see how I was doing. I ended up going up to the director of nursing and her response was "I heard something about it in morning meeting". Told her if Heather Hill was going to pay for ER visit and for the follow up appt, with my primary and they have yet to send any type of payment. AS OF 11-23-2016 THEY HAVE NOT PAID MY ER VISIT!! Then one of the nursing assistants actually told my mom that she wasn't going to help her because she didn't want to hurt her back. That was real professional of her. My mom was there for respiratory therapy and she was put on the skilled unit and need to be on the bi-pap machine at night as her pulmonary physician is stating that she HAS to be on it. She got thereon a Friday night and the RNs were actually going to wait until Monday when the Respiratory Therapist comes in to assess her. They didn't read the reports the nurses gave them from Hillcrest or the reports that came with my mom. Heaven forbid, my mom could have died within those three nights without the bi-pap. My sister actually had to call in demanding them to read the reports given to them and gave them a choice of either getting the bi-pap started or send my mom back to Hillcrest. I actually stayed there until 11:30pm when the bi-pap and oxygen came up to her room and set her up. Through out the 3 weeks that she was there, the nurses would forget (or to lazy) to give my mom her meds and just stated that she refused just so they wouldn't have to do their job. They even had the gall to ask my mom how to hook up the machine. Very stupid and lazy nurses. Would not recommend this place to NO-ONE!!
