One of my Christmas gifts was a huge salsa gift basket full of Ghost Pepper products that I received from one of my co-workers. I am a die hard pepper head and could not wait to try these goodies out. A lot of salsas and hot sauces on the market claim to be nuclear hot, but don't even come close. Others are hot, but don't have a good flavor. I patiently waited for New Years Eve to try these so that I could share them at a party I had to go to. There were 3 different types of salsas in the basket, Fire Roasted Ghost Pepper, Salsa Verde Ghost Pepper, and Classic Ghost Pepper. They were all awesome! The Fire Roasted was gobbled up first by me and my friends. Such a unique great flavor AND IT WAS HOT! My friends and I we were in Ghost Pepper heaven! The other two salsas were really good too and lived up to the heat and flavor expectations. They were best poured over the carnitas we where eating. The Fire Roasted was great with the tortilla chips. These were truly fantastic salsas.
The Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce was also a huge hit at the party. It had a flavor that made us want to eat more and more of it. The intense heat was euphoric! It was dribbled on everything we ate!
There was also a jug of small size Ghost Pepper crackers that we all tried. I have never seen these before anywhere. They looked like oyster crackers that were seasoned with a Ghost Pepper seasoning. They were hot, flavorful, and crunchy. Very very good!
My co-worker who got me this fantastic gift said he bought it at Pepper Bandits at the Gilbert Farmers Market. He said Pepper Bandits has free tastings of all the products and was very helpful in picking out the products for him. I have heard of the Gilbert Farmers Market, but have not been yet. I will diffidently check this place out next Saturday and hunting down Pepper Bandits! I am completely out of all my Ghost Pepper goodies!
For everyone who likes Ghost Pepper, I strongly recommend trying these foods from Pepper Bandits.
