| - Honey Pig was my favorite AYCE KBBQ spot in Vegas. I used to frequent this place but just haven't gotten to for no particular reason.
From what I remember, $25 for dinner with an extra charge for fried rice at the end. Go for the fried rice. One order is enough for 3 people. Recently told that AYCE is only served til 10p. Better quality than Sura or Tofu Hut.
During my visit earlier today, we opted for something warm. For the first time, ordered the mushroom bulgogi hot pot for $34.99. Prior to receiving our order, we were served salad and an array of banchan. Our server was Becky and she was amazing. Refilled our banchan without even asking her. Served us hot and cold barley tea. Everything was in front of us without even asking.
The hotpot is more than enough for two people. Had a sweet flavor with mushrooms, cabbage, bulgogi, rice cake, and noodles. Served with rice. Becky asked if we liked things spicy and she came out with jalapenos, chilli sauce, and crushed red chilli. The crushed red chilli was my favorite. Add it to your dishes!
I'm coming back to try their other hotpot offerings because it hit the spot on a cold day. Also saw a sign for honeycomb pork belly that looks enticing. Asked our server what her favorite is and she said spicy squid and pork belly.
I'm not sure if others have gone on a bad day, but service was impeccable. To be honest, I don't recall ever getting bad service the times I have gone.
Despite the mixed reviews, I personally think Honey Pig is one of the better Korean joints in Vegas and would recommend it to others.
