  • "OK" is the best I could describe my experience. I went here because it is very close to my home, they had an immediate appointment, and I was unable to go to my normal vet. I came in for a full examination of two stray dogs that I found. With my regular vet (another business, not this one), the exam of each dog would have occurred in front of me and he'd explain exactly what he was doing, let me know how they were, and give me lots of details (and in a very friendly, welcoming way). With the vet I was assigned to here, he merely took each dog to a separate room while I waited and someone else (a non-vet technician) came back with each dog and just the plain status that they were "ok" and that was that. (He also brought with him a detailed estimate for more vet work (to do a spay/neuter) of which he had no knowledge of the items written on the estimate). I asked to see the vet again so I could have an actual conversation; after a wait, he finally came back, but he didn't have much to say. I was really looking for a more friendly, informative, back-and-forth interaction with the vet about my pets, which I would have gotten with Pet Health (the vet whom I normally go to, that I gave five stars). The front desk was friendly, so no complaints there. However, the overall experience was not great; in fact, since I didn't see the actual exam, I can't really comment on their expertise or even know with certainty that the exam was completed in a conscientious way. I don't plan to go again; only if I had an emergency. Despite being only 3 minutes from my home, I would much rather drive 25 minutes to my other vet because the experience there is so much better. UPDATE: After seeing my Yelp review, the vet called to apologize and offered me two free exams. Apparently, there was confusion that I wanted a complete exam; he thought I only came in for vaccinations. I clearly stated to the front desk that I wanted exams, and thus was confirmed back to me (twice) by them ("exam plus vaccines" were their exact words), but it appears that this wasn't communicated properly to the vet. So, bonus points for taking responsibility, but this also doesn't reflect well on the communication between the front desk and the vet. Upgrading from 2 to 3 stars.
