  • I have been coming here twice a week for several months now. In the last two months, my average time spent per visit has doubled. It seems like I see a smaller staff every time I come in. They just added two steps to their two step front of house process, making it now a four step process that doesn't seem to provide any benefit. It does add a kiosk area in the waiting room that takes up half the space though. One issue with the kiosk step is that they say you can't leave the building after you're done with the kiosk. The kiosk is the first thing you do. If you forget something you're screwed. Before the kiosk, you could not leave after the screening, which was fine because you had anywhere from 15-40 minutes of waiting time to remember what you might have left in the car. The system is also inefficient. You have three things doing the job of one thing. A sign in sheet, a kiosk, and an extra body handing out wristbands are three parts of a system that a kiosk (with any though put into it) would be capable of handling on its own. Get a kiosk that signs people in and you've replaced the sign in sheet. A kiosk that replaces the sign in sheet means people haven't been signed in unless they've been through the kiosk, replacing the only function I can see of the wristband. The part about not leaving the building seems silly, as nothing about my past behavior or travels to Liberia or Guinea or proximity to anyone with a smallpox vaccine will change if I go back to the car.
