Tips to saving $$:
1. Decide to go on a Monday for $9.69 & buy tickets online (you have to punch in a special code you can find online)
2. Park on the street (albeit you'll have to walk maybe ~5-10min) but save $10
Highlights:
1. Lots of instagram/ snapchat-worthy light displays but trying to get your face lit up was kind of challenging
2. The porta potties are actually pretty clean & they are placed everywhere along with hand sanitizing stations
3. Chinese food! There were hand pulled noodles, dumplings, pork buns and a lot of different foods - all really good. And they had unique desserts as well - like cotton candy shaped like flowers and intricate candy art
My friend and I spent ~2 hrs there, which was more than enough time to look at everything. We didn't go on any rides or play carnival games. It wasn't too crowded when we went 7-9PM either. But if you want photos with no one else around, I would suggest taking them 9-10PM when all the kids and families go home. Bring cash and lots of dollar bills so you can make your life easier purchasing items. And bring a nice warm jacket since it does get colder at night!
